We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team on a contracted basis within a local school system. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly those with special needs, and a commitment to providing exceptional behavioral support services.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or other supervising professionals.
- Provide direct one-on-one and small group behavior therapy sessions.
- Collect data and monitor progress towards individualized goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to ensure consistency in implementing behavior management strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly within a school setting, is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and adapt strategies as needed.
- Reliable transportation to travel between school locations within the district.
